A CLOSE BRUSH!

This only remotely related, but I built a small scale model of a car wash building for a client. It was highly detailed and I pondered for a while on what to use for the big brushes we’ve all seen in these wacky machines. I used old-school type hair curlers. Pulled the brushes out of the little springy sleeves and voila- they looked great. The model was used at trade shows as an example of what these cool, adobe styled car washes looked like, and I’m pleased to report a photo of my work was used in the trade magazine article!
