FLIGHT REQUIREMENTS

In nearly all my dreams I’m flying. The illusion was so real to me as a small child, I once woke up and leapt off my bed, hitting my head and nearly knocking myself out. Mom heard the noise, ran in the room, and I looked up at her. “I was flying!” I said. After checking my head, she laughed a little and explained how dreams aren’t always real… I still think they are, though… About a year ago I was flailing in my sleep and my wife woke me up, concerned. I looked at her and shouted, “I was flying!” (I mean, flying is awesome, and a terrible thing to interrupt, right?) To this day she still laughs at that.
